- The band shall carry their own instruments and only mikes will be provided. A total of 5 mikes will be made available on stage.
- Please take careful note that this is a band that allows Beats, Strings and Wind Instruments that are acoustic in nature (no pedals or any electronic equipment allowed).
- A 5 set Drum Kit will be provided . Participants need to carry their own sticks.

Criteria for judging will be based on a mix of Music & Vocal Harmony, Choice of Instruments, Stage Presence and Audience Connect
Each performance will be for a maximum of 5 minutes and the track can be in any language.
- Set up time cannot exceed 3 MINUTES.
- Total performance time – 8 minutes including set up.
- The performances will be judged a professional from the music industry.
- The top 3 bands will perform in the final round, where the winner and runner up will be awarded .
Troupe Dance Contest
- This will be a stage performance where the participating institute enrols a troupe with a maximum of 5 participants (minimum 3)
- The troupe gets to perform for a maximum of 3 minutes and the chosen track can be in any language and any standard form of dance
- The musical track will have to be provided to the organisers in advance.
- The performances will be judged by a judge from the
dance/choreography industry and the top 3 troupes will perform in a final round, where the winner and runner up will be awarded at Judge’s discretion.
- No colour, powder or fire usage allowed. ANY TEAM using fire/powder / colour during their performance.
will be disqualified.
- All musical tracks must reach the organisers in MP3 format – latest by 10th March 2026 by email to naughtica@offing.biz. (Prepare 2 tracks – in case you make it to the finals, it is preferable you perform a separate piece). A back up of tracks must be presented on a Pendrive marked with your college name at time of registration .
Personality Contest
- This will be a stage contest where the participating institute enrols 1 participant of their choice
- Round 1 – Ramp walk (Dress Code/ Apparel will be to your choice)
- Round 2 –Elocution (Maximum 1-minute speech on topic of their choice)
- Round 3 – Debate (This will be 60 seconds round where the Finalists
(Top 6) will be given a topic by the judges. One will debate in favour and
another will debate against the topic
- Round 4 - The top 3 finalists will face off in a ‘Rapid Fire Questionnaire’
by the judges and the winner will be crowned!
Doodle Art Competition (Sketching)
- Doodle Art is your chance to use your imagination and share your doodling
skills with the world
- 1 Artist from each participating institute can take part in the competition.
There aren't any boundaries to what you doodle (except obscenity/ nudity and
insulting art towards religion ,politics, caste, gender or creed)
- This will be a 2 hr time-based activity and all doodling material will be provided
by the organisers. The winner and runner up will be awarded on the basis of
neatness and creativity.
Short Film Making Contest
- This will be a competition where the participating institute enrols a short film
making team of a maximum of 2 participants as a team.
- The organisers shall provide a prop (that must be used in the film so as to
ensure that the movie was actually shot on location) and a theme of the short
film.
- The team will be given 24 hours to conceptualise, shoot, edit and present a
script based on the theme and the same can be shot using any camera or even
of a smartphone. The short film to be handed over to the Offing team on a usb
stick (to be carried by participants)
- The duration of the film that will be presented to the judges will be a maximum
of 1 minute.
- The reason for this is so that further viewership can be initiated on Instagram.
All films will be aired to the audience.
- The top 3 films will be selected by a judge from the film making
industry; the winner & runner up will be awarded
Wow Factor
- This will be a stage contest where the participating college can enrol
1 contestant of their choice.
This activity includes 8 acts where the participant can choose ANY 1 act
from the below list:

◆Miming
◆Juggling – Carry your own equipment
◆Magic (no fire acts permitted)
- It will be a Single Round activity where the artist will get a stage time of a maximum of 2 minutes.
- NO Dancing will be allowed.
- This activity will be based on a Knock out pattern only ONE round will be held.
- If any music is used to perform any of the above activity, musical track will have
to be provided to the organisers in advance. The artist may choose to use 1
musical instrument of his/her choice to accompany the singing, but same will
have to be played by the artist themselves.
- In case of the Solo Singing , please note that this is NOT a Karaoke
completion and NO screen will be provided
- A winner and runner up will be awarded!

Chess
- This will be a Singles tournament.
- You may register 1 participant in this category.
○ The winner and runner up of the finals will be awarded.
○ For any debate point – the arbiter decision will be honoured.
○ Player will get 10 minutes (per player) + 2 seconds increment per
move.
○ Organisers will provide the clock.
○ Players can resign or claim a draw to the arbiter at any time.
○ Chess is a game of killer instinct. Agreed draw may be taken only after
explaining the reason to the arbiter.
○ Players will be declared lost if they speak, use mobile phones, keep their
hand on or hover around the clock or bang pieces to disturb the opponent.
○ Only a contestant can invite the attention of the arbiter in case he/she
wants to raise a doubted point.
- THE CHESS ARBITER IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY IN TERMS OF RULES &
DECISIONS RELATED TO THE SPORT ON THE DATE. CHESS IS A SILENT

Nautifit Challenge
1 participant can be enrolled per category – Male and Female
separately.
- This will be a multi-level fitness challenge (time bound) wherein the contestant
will be required to showcase their fitness skills over various levels of challenges
this may include routines such as planks, push-ups, Pilates, skipping, running,
cycling & similar activities . The exact configuration of the challenge will be
announced by the NautiFIT judge and facilitator of the activity.
- Winner and Runner up will be awarded.
Table Tennis Tournament (Singles) MALE AND FEMALE
SEPARATE
○ An indoor tournament.- Participating institutes to enrol 1 player
per category
○ Eliminations will involve one game of 21 points.
○ FINALS only will play best of 3 set of 21 points each
○ All tie breakers will be resolved by a difference of 2 points.
○ Winner and Runner up will be awarded
○ Get your own TT rackets – TT balls will be provided. Wear sports shoes
FUTSAL (5 a side)
- Games will be 7.5 minutes per half, played to a stop watch.
- Five players on court + 1 substitute allowed.
○ NO Off sides & NO time-outs
○ Played to lines. Ball is returned to play with a kick-in.
○ Rules, Fouls & Penalties will be as per referee’s decision and
briefing on the day.
○ Futsal Shoes: Flat Sports Shoes only (NO Studs
allowed )
- The team scoring the maximum goals in 15 minutes will be
declared a WINNER.
- There will be NO extra time awarded & in case of a tie - the
winner will be decided by a penalty shootout (Best of 5)

Indoor Rowing Contest (Doubles)
○ Doubles Tournament – 2 players
○ The sport will be conducted on standard Indoor Rowing Machines
- The Machines will be aligned with a software (displayed as boats on a screen)
that will record the time taken to row and also display same for reference on a
large screen so that the audience can witness the race
- As you row – your college boat moves forward!

- The contest will be judged by an Engineer & Electrical expert from the
Maritime Industry. Winner and Runner Up will be awarded!
- The organisers will arrange for the material required (except a Multi
Meter, which the college participants need to carry)
- This activity may involve competition on Equipment / Test Papers /
Virtual Reality or Gaming as per the choice of the organisers
- Please carry Boiler Suits & Suitable Gloves.
NautiSkills Contest
- This will be a competition, where the participating institute will be allowed
to enrol 1 participant of their choice with Deck Knowledge & Skills.
This will be a time-based contest where the participants will be required to
exhibit their nautical skills.
- The organisers will arrange for the material required.
- This activity may involve competition on Ropes/ Equipment / Test Papers /
Virtual Reality or Gaming as per the choice of the organisers
- The winner and runner up will be awarded
MindToss
- This will be a stage contest where the participating college can enrol 1
participant of their choice.
- A stage-based, intelligence testing- rapid fire type activity which will test
the grey cells of participants on various elements related to subjects
including General Knowledge, History, Latest News, Geography, Sciences
relevant to the Maritime Industry
- This activity will be judged by leading maritime personalities.
The winner and runner up will be awarded on the basis of highest points.
